Manifestation scripting is a valuable law of attraction tool that can change your reality. Once you start using scripting daily, you will begin to see gradual – yet consistent success. The art of scripting involves writing a letter to the Universe or God (whoever you feel called to) and defining the life you want to live in the present or past tense.
Now, this isn’t just any letter or a one-time thing – we’ll get into all the glitz and glamour that involves scripting to manifest throughout the post. We’re going to be rebranding your entire life, to the way you want things to go.

What is Manifestation Scripting?
Scripting is a tool used to manifest your future dreams and goals with the support of the Universe or God. Scripting is a way we utilize the law of attraction. The law of attraction is the idea that what you put out, comes back to you. For example, if you focus positive energy on the things you want to achieve then you will in turn attract positive things into your life.
So, by scripting the things you want to achieve you are welcoming that positive change into your life. Even though we will be using scripting to alter our reality, there are exceptions – we can’t and don’t control terrible circumstances and challenges that just happen.
Manifestation scripting involves writing down the thing that you seek to change by getting clear and specific. I prefer to use the past tense when scripting – while others may write in the present tense. When scripting in the past tense, you have a sense of trust that you have already achieved the goals that you seek. Rumi, a 13th-century philosopher and poet once said, “what you seek, is seeking you” – when in doubt, sit with that.
Let’s rewrite your reality – shall we?!
Use Manifestation Scripting To Change Your Life
How do you start a script manifestation?
Part 1: Identify, and get clear and specific.
Identify the desire or change that you seek in each part of your life and get clear with what you want. We need to make clear, specific, and reasonable requests. For example, if you want more money – what is the exact amount that you want? How will you achieve it? When do you want to achieve it? If you need affirmations to support you on your money journey, check out my post on manifesting money affirmations.
If you want to travel then get as detailed as possible with it. Where do you want to travel? When? With whom? What resources do you require? What will your trip look like? How long will you be on vacation? We need answers to all the nitty and gritty.
My only reminder is that you set reasonable and realistic expectations for yourself. No, you cannot manifest yourself into a chair – just because you’re using manifestation scripting. Sorry, to burst your bubble, but this isn’t Hogwarts (sigh).
Part 2: Write a letter to the universe.
Wherever you are currently in your life – write a letter for for that year. For example, if you write a letter in mid-June for 2023 then, write your letter up to mid-June of 2024.
You’re probably wondering what to write – well this is exactly what scripting to manifest is about. We will be focusing on every part of our life in the past tense. Some law of attraction scripting examples might be: “Yesterday I had a grand total of $200,000 remaining in my savings – wow, what an incredible feeling this is to have such a big savings account.” Another example could be, “My red Dodge Challenger is a sight for sore eyes. I wake up every day excited to drive her around.”
Script as much as you want, and consider every aspect of your life as if you are already living it. There is no limit. Next, you’ll want to practice the law of detachment.
The law of detachment is the idea of detaching ourselves from the outcome of our desires so that they will manifest in the physical world. This is where we will set it and forget it. I don’t mean erase it from your mind completely, but rather let it go. If you’re constantly, wondering, thinking, and obsessing about what you’ve put into the universe – you’re trying to control your outcome, which in turn will present a manifestation block.

Part 3: Journal every day in the past tense.
Journal every day as if you are living it (speak in past tense). Yes, I mean every day. If you want to start a new job – then write, “I am so glad with my current job as … I knew this would work out for me.” Some manifestation scripting examples: My soulmate and I just got back from our vacation, I have stayed committed to my 3 months of daily walks, and I just earned an extra $2000 from my new client. All of those are examples of writing in the past tense to script manifest.
You aren’t required to write lengthy journal entries – even a few lines will do. I sometimes only write one line but I feel it deeply and often leads to gratitude. The point of the journal entries is to showcase how you are already living your life the way you want. Be clear and realistic with your scripting.
Don’t forget to thank the universe, your guides, angels, or God. Honest gratitude will serve you well.
Part 4: Write affirmations about your dreams.
What I mean by this is that we’re going to be creating our affirmations to use with our manifestation scripting. Write these affirmations with structure. Get clear with how you feel towards each affirmation. Remember that feeling that you attach to each affirmation.
Using your chosen focus areas (from part 1), write affirmations for each of those categories. For example, if one of my focus areas is healthy eating, then I may use the affirmation “My body is a temple and I am her healer.” Create affirmations that resonate deeply with you and write 1-3 for each area of your life.
Part 5: Create your vision board.
Whether you already have a vision board or it’s new to you – this is where it gets fun and we get to pull out our creativity card. I like to call into the law of assumption when attracting visual manifestations into my life. The law of assumption is a philosophy by Neville Goddard, with the idea being – that what we imagine to be true, can in fact become our reality.
We’re going to create your vision board with these affirmations + goals in front of you. Correlate the photos that represent the manifestation with your affirmations. Basically, you’re going to be repeating these affirmations as you work through your vision board. Call into the feelings and emotions these affirmations evoked, as you wrote them and attach that feeling to each image you use.
Scripting manifestation is a great way to get clear with your dreams while accepting that patience is the best tool to see things through. I’ve mentioned it above and will mention again that we can’t control difficult or harmful circumstances that just happen to us. The idea of rewriting your reality through manifestation is meant to keep you motivated and thriving. Wherever you are on your manifestation journey, keep thriving and doing your best!
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you start a manifestation script?
You start a manifestation script by getting clear and specific about your goals and dreams. Once you have clarity around the changes you want in your life – make sure these changes are realistic changes. By realistic changes, I mean we aren’t trying to manifest ourselves into a chair (make it, make sense). Then start by writing a letter to the Universe or God – for further steps start at the top of this blog post and make your way down.
What to do after scripting manifestation?
We script manifest and we wait. We go about living our life daily as we would and keep making strides even if it provides us with slight differences in our livelihood. Don’t dwell on it and wonder why something you are trying to manifest has not yet happened. Accept where you are and practice patience.
How many times should I script manifest?
I think the choice is yours to make. Personally, I script manifest daily or bi-daily. Even a line a day is worth the effort. I say this because sometimes it’s timing and we can manifest all we want but there could be something holding us back because it isn’t yet our time. Stay the course and trust your journey.
What is the 333 method?
Is the manifestation method of writing what you want to manifest 33 times for 3 consecutive days. So, you essentially use the power of your thoughts and feelings to manifest your desires.
Does scripting manifestation work?
Yes, it does. It might not work in the exact ways you want or exactly when you want it but that’s where trusting the Universe or God comes in full force. What’s meant for you, is yours.
