Deletion Request Rights

You have the right to request that Wander Is Calling delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. We may deny your deletion request if retaining the personal information is necessary for us or our service provider(s) to:

1. Complete the transaction for which we collected the personal information, provide a good or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you.
2. Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities.

9. Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.

Please be advised we DO NOT SELL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION to third parties and have never sold your personal information. We do not intend to sell your person information in the future either.

Under the CCPA, you have the right to opt-out of such sales and send us a “do not sell my information” request. If you would like to exercise any of your rights under California law, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by sending us an email at hello@wanderiscalling.com. Only you as the person registered with the California Secretary of State can make such verifiable consumer request related to your personal information or someone you authorize to act on your behalf.

The privacy notice for California residents supplements the information included in the pervious sections of this privacy policy. California and Delaware law also requires us to state whether we honor “Do Not Track” settings in your browser regarding targeted advertising and we do not monitor or respond to Do Not Track browser requests.

What Information do we collect and how do we use it?

We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

Information You Voluntarily Submit to the Website: We may collect personal information from you such as your name or email address. For example, you may voluntarily submit information to the Website by leaving a comment, subscribing to a newsletter, or submitting a contact form. In addition, you are able to create a user profile, which allows you to create a username and password. We will store the username, but your password will not be visible in our records.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of our newsletters. Your email will be stored by the Website’s email marketing company, Convertkit, for as long as you remain subscribed, and solely for the purpose of sending our newsletter. All newsletters sent may contain tracking pixels. The pixel is embedded in emails and allows an analysis of the success of online marketing campaigns. Because of these tracking pixels, we may see if and when you open an email and which links within the email you click. This allows the Website to adapt the content of future newsletters to the interests of the user. This behavior will not be passed on to third parties.
• Comments: When leaving comments on the Website, we collect the data shown in the comments form and also your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Your name and comment will be displayed on the Website, but your email and IP address will be kept private.
